Storyboard Plan 3.0
After pitching my Storyboard Project Plan 2.0, I received suggestions and advise from my teacher, Mr. Nick. First, he suggested that I should add some reaction shots in between shot 11 and 12. Second, he said that the phone in shot 23A can be misleading because it could make audiences to think that it is a mobile game. Lastly, he advised to make the advert a little shorter in time.
Here is a revised, third version of the plan for my Pokemon Legends: Arceus advertisement:
Product: Pokemon Legends: Arceus (video game)
Target Market: People ages 25-40
Setting: CEO's office/workplace, House
Outfit: Formal Clothing/Suit/Work clothes, gradually gets messier throughout the advert.
Storyline:
(Pokemon names are written in Italics)
- main character: mid 30s man is a CEO of a company
- shot of name plaque on desk (CEO), man working on the background out of focus in his office signing papers getting work calls non-stop (DGS: phone ringing, flipping papers)
- man's bag rustles, makes "pika-pika" sound
- man turns head to investigate
- man picks up bag, opens bag
- Pikachu appears from inside the bag
- Pikachu jumps out the bag and runs outside the office
- man "hey! wait up!"
- man chases after pikachu through the hallway
- coworkers inside room looks outside the window, confused why the CEO is running
- man outside the building, looks around confused
- wydeer makes a sound and man turns head to investigate, sees wyrdeer
- man rides wyrdeer which lead him to his house
- man opens door and sits on sofa
- 3 starter pokemons on table
- TV shows text: "Welcome to Hisui"
- man stares at 3 starter pokemons
- zoom in, everything starts getting out of focused except for rowlet
- man picks up rowlet and chooses it as his starter pokemon
- shot of pikachu on the counter with apples and a physical copy of Pokemon Legends: Arceus next to it, man playing on the TV on the background out of focus, narrator: "Explore history, make history" text on screen: "Available now"
