Podcast Editing
Recordings
Erina and Hugo recorded the audios for the podcast and they sent me the raw recording of the podcast. I started editing by cutting out all the mistakes and stutters and making sure the timing between each sentences and words sound natural, not too fast and not too slow. I also made sure there was not too much background noise on the audio so it will sound more high-quality.
BGM and SFX
I searched for non-copyrighted songs on Youtube and Google for our podcast intro song and for the BGM. I decided to use Too Crazy By David Fesliyan as our podcast intro and a few of his other songs and songs by other artists as BGM.
Here are the links of the songs I used for the BGM:

I found a very good website to find sound effects for our podcast, https://freesound.org. Freesound.org is a platform where people can upload and download non-copyrighted SFX for free just by creating an account and logging in.
For most of the SFX on our podcast, I took it from freesound.org but for some of the SFX I couldn't find a fitting one so I decided to record them on my own with the voice memo app on my Macbook and things I have in my house.
I wiggled around and dropped papers and a book on the table to make a SFX of someone dropping/placing files and a stack of papers on the table. I also unfolded paper to make a SFX of opening a letter/envelope
For the dialogues, I added an old radio/telephone effect on it to make it sound like a playback of a real recording from decades ago. I didn't know how to add this effect at first so I followed this tutorial on YouTube.
To make the transitions of the recordings, BGM and SFX sound natural and not choppy, I used the audio transition 'Exponential Fade' which is provided on the program.
